Lot 40: CD 128 HEMINGRAY [030] Color: Off Clear Description: HEMINGRAY-E.1. The "E" series of Hemingray experimental pieces includes the E.1 (CD 128 and the ultra-rare CD 100.6), E.2 (CD 122.4), and E.3 (CD 233). They were produced at the Hemingray factory in Muncie, Indiana and many were discovered at the dump site. This series was molded to fit a carrier pin. The glass formula was part of the experimentation and apparently it was prone to annealing problems, which resulted in damage at various times in the production process. 1 1/2" scallop bruise at the left mold line, fracture running from the base of the skirt to the base of the pinhole.
