Lot 24: CD 120 {Unembossed} [030] Color: Purple Description: This is an unembossed "C.E.W.", which stood for California Electrical Works. Lightning likely struck it, causing significant damage to the dome. One patch is about 1 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" tall, another patch is about 1" square, and there are several other smaller patches on the wire ridge. These tell the story of the harsh conditions insulators sometimes endured. Estimate: $200 - $300 Open: $1 Price Realized: $132 |
