Lot 170: Glass Arm Color: Clear Description: This is a glass arm insulator from the Czech Republic. It was used on a radio tower. It is believed that there are only two known in the US. A few little flakes here and there, but remember, this was also bolted to some structure! It is 11" long, and the mounting flange is 3 3/4" wide by 7" tall and 3/4" thick. On the far right is the wire groove. Is it an insulator or a "go-with?" You can decide! It's pretty interesting in either case. Estimate: $300 - $400 Open: $1 Price Realized: $330 |
