Lot 125: CD 262 COLUMBIA [010] Color: Aqua Description: The insulator hobby has nicknamed this style "Baby Columbia" as it was sold under the trade name "Columbia." It is significantly smaller than the regular-sized CD 263 "Columbia". The "tie eyes" design was patented by Samuel Oakman on May 12, 1891 and makes for a unique style of insulator. Although the patent mentions "one or more eyes", the patent drawing shows the insulator with just a single "eye". 1/2" factory bubble on the left ear; otherwise, in great condition.
