Lot 11: CD 105 AM.INSULATOR CO. [010] Color: Light Aqua Description: These units are especially prone to damage, especially on the lower wire ridge, which just has a 1/8" flake and some chatter. There's also some chatter on the base and 1" flake/chip that removes "AM I" on the base. This early pony was produced for the American Insulator Company using Samuel Oakman's collapsible plunger, which was patented on September 13, 1881. For added character, there is attractive milk swirling in the dome. Overall very good condition for this style! Estimate: $200 - $250 Open: $1 Price Realized: $187 |
