Lot 60: CD 145 H.G.CO. [070] Color: Jade Blue Milk Description: What a stunning piece! We have never seen anything like this! You can see just a little milk swirling, so to the purist, it's not 100% jade. However, the swirls add extra interest to the piece and add to the translucent effect. Up in the dome is a large glob that looks like a cotton ball! The embossing is weak, but you can tell that this is the much more desirable "PETTICOAT" variant. The insulator looks fantastic back lit in your light box. The only significant damage is about a 1" square chip/flake at the mold line. [UPDATE: View 3 and view 4 are added to show the flake/chip. At the base, it is slightly wider than half the width of the skirt. Note that being front lit makes it stand out more.] This rare piece is a real eye-catcher!
