Lot 20: CD 124.3 DEC. 19, 1871 [020] Color: Aqua w/ Milk Swirls Description: Another old Hemingray similar to lot 19. A nice milk worm meanders around the rear skirt. 1/8" bubble and associated flake and a 3/8" flake on the right mold line. If you want a clever way to tell CD 124.2 and CD 124.3 apart, the former has two ridges (think "2" after the decimal point) and the latter just one! However, the CD number is not based on this characteristic. A classic piece that is getting harder to acquire. Estimate: $200 - $250 Open: $1 Price Realized: $242 |
