Lot 154: SI 162 BROOKFIELD "Salesman's Sample" {CD 162 style} [010] Color: Light Aqua Description: CHECK ALL EMBOSSING OK and WEAK OR BOLD? This is typically found with weaker embossing, but this is boldly embossed on both the skirt with "BROOKFIELD" and "STANDARD" and more weakly embossed on the crown with "WESTERN" and "ELEC.CO." These were produced by Brookfield. They are referred to as "salesman's samples" in the hobby but their real purpose is not known; perhaps they were promotional items. 1/2" chip on the rear that does not affect any embossing nor is it visible from the front.
