Lot 133: CD 718 {Unembossed} {Canada} [005] Color: Dark Green Description: This early "egg" style of threadless insulator was produced by various glass manufacturers in the United States and Canada. The whole insulator is clear-coated with resin. This is often done to smooth out the surface after a repair or reglue. We cannot identify the specific damage other than a repair to part of the base, but one can assume some repair/reglue was done. However, the crude texture of the surface remains.
