Lot 97: CD 162 H.G.CO. [080] Color: Aqua w/ Metal Bracket Description: This CD 162 is mounted on a crude, possibly hand-forged, bracket that was probably attached to the side of a house. The insulator is the old-style "transition-embossed" variant where the patent date was embossed in small letters below the "H.G.CO." The original plate that created insulators with a smooth base was replaced with one that had drip points. Perhaps because of where the insulator was mounted, it remains in very nice condition.
