Lot 88: CD 154 {Unembossed Zicme} {Columbia} Color: Rich Dark Purple Description: This is a stunning Rich Dark Purple insulator produced by ZICME of Colombia. Salomon Zundel was the founder of Zicme, and the trademark was for Zundel Industria Colombiana Materiales Electricos. These are very often crudely made, and this is so crude that the skirt is actually lower than the drip points! 1/2" wire ridge chip, 1/2" base chip, a few dings here and there. The color is fantastic, almost bordering on Royal Purple, and passes light easily. What an amazing insulator, one of the darkest Zicmes you will find!
