Lot 32: CD 123.2 CHESTER [010]  Color: Light Aqua  Description: 2" chip on the right rear, shallow fracture that runs from the base to the embossing. 1/8" wire ridge flake. This is an extremely rare piece, and you hardly ever see it for sale. This could be your once-in-a-lifetime chance to own this piece. According to The Telegrapher, the firm of Charles T. & John N. Chester, in 1855, continued the business established by Mr. John W. Norton, who, in the early days of the telegraph, was largely engaged in the manufacture and sale of telegraph instruments and supplies. This insulator has some interesting patches of amber swirls in the dome. A very rare insulator and a must-have for the advanced CD collector!
