Lot 29: CD 121.4 DEC. 19, 1871 [030] Color: Green Aqua Description: This CD style is getting tougher to acquire. Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company for the short-lived American Union Telegraph Company. One can see the "A.U." blotted out on the front skirt. Shop letter "D" for the specialist. Hemingray collectors should note that the CD 121.4 is always embossed with the patent date of December 19, 1871. A nice example of this early Hemingray style, especially in this wonderful condition!
