CD 116 A.U., Light Aqua; Is this transition embossed?

Lot 30: CD 116 A.U. [020]  Color: Light Aqua  Description: While it's difficult to see the "A.U." blot out on the front, you can clearly see the "C" blot out on the rear, and thus can conclude it's the A.U. [020] embossing. This may have been a transition-embossed insulator, with earlier examples having a smooth base. Later, the sharp drip points were added, as well as the "PATENT MAY 2 1893" embossing, as the style of that embossing looks different from that on the front. 1/2" chip on the base of the skirt, 3/4" base/skirt flake/chip that affects the "2" in the rear embossing, 1/4" ding/flake on the crown, and a few other dings and flakes here and there. It's interesting to attempt to reconstruct this example's life and embossing over time!
