Lot 4: CD 287.1 LOCKE [010] Color: Bright Peacock Blue Description: A stunning, very rare color, especially for a power insulator! These very attractive insulators were produced for Fred M. Locke & Co. by the Hemingray Glass Company. They were primarily used in Michigan and Texas. 1/2" middle skirt chip, 1 1/4" skirt bruise on the rear, otherwise about very near mint. If you are lucky enough to acquire a Red Amber example, these make a stunning duo! Fantastic display and a welcome addition for the Hemingray, power or color collector!
