Lot 42: CD 126.1 BROOKFIELD Color: Light Aqua EIN: [010] Description: This interesting variant of the CD 126 has a rounder dome and a thicker lower wire ridge. It's referred to as the "straight skirt" variant and is embossed with the initials for Western Union as well as Louis Cauvet's name and the February 22, 1870 date of his patent for forming threads. 1/8" base flake, otherwise very near mint.
