Lot 148: CD 740.1 {Unembossed} Color: Bubbly Snowy Aqua EIN: [010] Description: This "Side wire groove 'Pilgrim Hat'; Rounded dome" insulator provides a stunning display of bubbles when base-lit and even when backlit. The bubbles and snow give it a translucent appearance! 1" base chip at the mold line, otherwise about very near mint. [ UPDATE: Some more information about the condition. View 3 shows a photo of the base and the 1" chip which goes up less than 1/4" into the skirt. An 1/8" thin flake at about 4 o'clock, 3/8" one about 5 o'clock, and a 1/4" one about 6 o'clock. 1/4" ding on the dome] See lot 145 for a CD 740, a slightly different design.
