Lot 103: CD 162 W.G.M.CO.  Color: Peachy Straw  EIN: [010]  Description: Purple is a very desirable color when it comes to many insulators. When it comes to W.G.M. examples, Purple is more common and Straw is much more difficult to acquire. Produced in the Denver, Colorado area by the Western Glass Manufacturing Company, which began operating in 1900 when the Western Flint Glass Company was reorganized, and was active through 1909. 1" base bruise on the left rear, otherwise very near mint. 1" band of weathering on the left front of the insulator, perhaps from some wind-blown sand. A number of larger bubbles float around in the skirt and dome. A nice tweener color!
Estimate: $125 - $175  Open: $1
