Lot 145: CD 292.5 KNOWLES Color: Blue Description: Unlisted embossing which is close to [060] but with interesting 3/4" x 1" ovals behind the "prism" on the front, and above "BOSTON" on the rear. One can see some amber swirls in the ears. 1" middle skirt chip, 1/4" ear flake, otherwise easily very near mint. Embossed with the patent date of June 17, 1890 for "dove-tail ears on crown".
