Lot 137: CD 256 MANHATTAN Color: Yellow Green EIN: [025] Description: An attractive color, especially for a power piece! Some amber tones can be seen in the skirt, however they are most distinct in the thick ear glass. 2" bruise and associated flake on the rear skirt, otherwise very, very near mint. The Manhattan Electrical Supply Co. sold these insulators, and there is a great deal of speculation as to who made them. Manhattan insulators are often found in aqua and blue, so the green shades, especially with amber highlights, really stand out and make this a welcome addition to your power collection!
