Lot 129: CD 194/195 HEMINGRAY-54 A/B  Color: Light Purple / Purple  EIN: [010]  Description: The bottom of this two-piece transposition is 2 1/8" tall. This was the tallest CD 194 in an informal comparison of seven examples in our possession and a full 5/16" taller than lot 128. View 3 contrasts this lot (shown on the left) with the short example in lot 128. While these may not be the "shortest known" and "tallest known", they are significantly different in height. This style of transposition insulator was found primarily in Florida. They were manufactured in the 1940s, as can be seen by the date codes. The bottom is Light Purple. 1" base flake, otherwise very, very near mint. The top is Purple. Very, very near mint.
