Lot 59: CD 134 DIAMOND P Color: Blue Description: A classic New England piece! 1/2" open bubble on the base in the front, 1/2" flake on the wire ridge, otherwise about very near mint. The "Diamond P" embossed insulators are attributed to James Pennycuick, who designed a unique method for "forming screw threads on glass" while leaving the plunger in place during annealing.
