Lot 52: CD 127.4 {Unembossed} Color: Dark Aqua w/ Milk Swirls Description: Many of the CD 127.4 insulators are darker aqua in color. This one has a much better presence, being a lighter aqua and showing the color better. In addition, there are some milky waves in the skirt. 3/4" wire ridge bruise at the left mold line, 1" square flake on the rear, assorted 1/8" dings. This piece shows its age as it is one of the early threaded telegraph insulators. A tough CD to acquire and this has extra character! Estimate: $300 - $400 Open: $10 Price Realized: $528 |
