Lot 145: CD 201 H.G.CO. Color: Blue Aqua Description: Rare "H.G.CO" embossing! The second of five generations of embossing on this insulator, leading up to the final "HEMINGRAY" embossed units. The first generation is the smooth base variant simply embossed "H.G.Co." About half the inner skirt is missing but the drip points remain in good condition. 1/2" flake on the rear removes "AY 2 1". [ UPDATE: View 3 shows the inner skirt with the front of the insulator at 12 o;'clock] Many examples of the "H.G.CO." embossed CD 201s have damage, as does this one, but it's a key piece for the Hemingray collector.
