Lot 73: CD 132 PATENT DEC 19, 1871 Color: Off Clear / Ice Purple Two Tone Description: A heavy yet compact hunk of glass! 1/2" hard-to-see bruise on the front. One of the earliest insulators produced by the Hemingray Glass Company. An attractive two-tone coloration with virtually no purple below the wire groove and icy purple above it, intensified by the thick dome glass. The glass is punctuated with fizz to add character.
