Lot 28: CD 106.1 DUQUESNE Color: Bright Cornflower Blue Description: A number of these are quite crude but this is better than many. The Duquesne Glass Company was in business in the Pittsburgh area from 1905 through approximately 1908, and most of these "peak tops" have been found in that general area. 1/8" wire ridge flake otherwise easily very near mint. The Cornflower Blue coloration is very strong, adding to the desirability of this insulator! Estimate: $125 - $150 Open: $10 Price Realized: $198 |
