Lot 173: CD 267 No 4 CABLE Color: Blue Aqua Description: About as good as they get! Most of the CD 267 insulators in the hobby today were used in Boston, and there was a mix of N.E.G.M.CO., No 4 CABLE, and unembossed units. However, this piece was reportedly found in Newcastle, Pennsylvania. It is interesting that most of the examples used in Boston have rubbing from the heavy cable in the saddle groove, but this one shows no signs of that. A wonderful example of this style!
