Lot 126: CD 162 HEMINGRAY-19 Color: Carnival Description: 1/8" wire ridge flake in the rear, otherwise about very near mint. Perfect drips! One can see that the minor flakes and abrasions do not have carnival on them, which helps authenticate the piece. In addition, the date code of 1934 is consistent with the production of Carnival insulators. This insulator was carnival-coated at the factory by spraying a liquid coating onto the hot glass, most likely to identify a particular line. A nice shiny piece to go with your other colored signals!
