Lot 88: CD 133 CALIFORNIA  Color: Deep Burgundy  Description: 1/2" base flake, factory annealing line over the dome, otherwise very, very near mint. Burgundy colored examples are found in the much more common CD 161 and CD 162 styles, but they are rarely encountered in the CD 133. The perfectly level glass below the pinhole creates a line just above the embossing making it easy to read, while the thick glass adds depth to the color in the skirt. The richness of this color makes it a stand out piece!
