Lot 52: CD 125 W.U. // PATENT DEC. 19, 1871  Color: Glowing Green  Description: 1/2" potstone bruise on the rear wire ridge, otherwise easily very near mint. Made for Western Union by the Hemingray Glass Company. Typically found in pale shades, one occasionally sees the yellow olive ones for sale. Green colors like this are harder to find and are quite desirable. This piece is a bright saturated green color that is more vibrant that the forest greens. Areas of amber enhance its appearance, giving it a bit of a two-tone effect!
