Lot 114: CD 158 BOSTON BOTTLE WORKS Color: Light Aqua Description: {Four segmented threads} {Narrow wire groove} All Boston insulators have segmented threads. Most are marked with "PATENT APPLIED FOR" on the base of the threads or on the base of the inner skirt. Some styles list Samuel Oakman's October 15, 1872 patent date for "Improvement in Formers for Segmentally Screw Threaded Insulators".
