Lot 221: CD 121 {Unembossed Agee} {Australia} Color: Dark Red Amber Description: Several small pings and BB dings. This is most likely the earliest insulator produced by the Australian Glass Manufacturers. Notice the lack of the typical AGEE embossing; only a few of these units in amber are known to exist. This insulator was probably made in the mid 1920's. The dark glass and thick, bold wire ridges really set it apart from the typical CD 121 style. Estimate: $30 - $50 Open: $10 Price Realized: $88 |
