Lot 180: CD 262 No 2 COLUMBIA Color: Blue Aqua Description: Easily very, very near mint. Nicknamed "Baby Columbia" because of its smaller size compared to lot 181, lot 182 and lot 183. The "tie eyes" design was patented by Samuel Oakman on May 12, 1891, and makes for a unique style of insulator! Although the patent mentions "one or more eyes" the patent drawing shows the insulator with just a single "eye".
