Lot 159: CD 194/195 HEMINGRAY-54 A/B Color: Purple Description: Minor scuffing on the top. This style of two-piece transposition insulator was found primarily in Florida. They were manufactured in the 1940's, as can be seen by the date codes. This time frame for "sun-colored amethyst" insulators is quite a bit later than the late 19th century and early 20th century dating that is usually seen.
