Lot 112: SI 162 McLAUGHLIN No 19 Color: Blue Milk w/ Multi-colored Swirls Description: Mint! In 1972 William McLaughlin built a small glass factory in his garage, where he made commemorative insulators to celebrate the 75th anniversary of his start in the glass business. All of them are unique, and were made in a variety of swirled and slag glass colors. Nearly all the swirled McLaughlin commemoratives have a white base color. This one is highly unusual because the base color is pale blue. This gives a completely different overall look to the insulator and makes it stand out in the crowd!
