Lot 81: CD 145 N.E.G.M. CO. Color: Rich Bright Sapphire Blue Description: Two 1/2" base flakes and a 1/2" skirt flake. A factory imperfection on the front crown is not an open bubble and there is no glass missing. Factory open bubble at the left mold line in the wire groove. Sometimes you'll see a weaker, washed-out shade of sapphire that comes close but doesn't quite "make it." But this insulator is the real deal; what a stunning color! If you want your "reference Sapphire Blue" then this is the piece. The color is rich and well-saturated; it doesn't get better than this! Estimate: $200 - $300 Open: $10 Price Realized: $374 |
