Lot 78: CD 145 W. BROOKFIELD Color: Rich Purple Description: 1/4" open bubble on the rear and a small associated flake. A nice 1/2" stretched bubble right in the front adds some character. The embossing is much stronger than typical for this style and easily readable. There appears to be a shop number with an overprint. Although some purple Brookfield behives are lighter and washed out, this one is a strong saturated shade of purple. A nice gem! Estimate: $300 - $400 Open: $10 Price Realized: $462 |
