Lot 53: CD 134 DIAMOND P  Color: Green  Description: Easily very near mint. A nice strong well-saturated green. It is likely that the "P in a diamond" logo refers to James Pennycuick, who designed a unique method for "forming screw threads on glass" while leaving the plunger in place during annealing. The date of his patent, August 11, 1885, is embossed on the rear. A very attractive and desirable shade of green to contrast with your aqua pieces!
