Lot 4: CD 680 "T-Bar" {Spain} Color: Straw Description: {Unembossed} Minor roughness at the end of the saddle groove, otherwise very, very near mint. Another stunning "T-Bar," equally as rare as its Red Amber counterpart in lot 5! We believe there might only be 5-6 known. In October 1997, Marilyn Albers had a sales list with this specific piece on it, for a price of $400. Her comment on the sales list was "CD 680's are super rare insulators found only on the Island of Majorca. They are very old but no longer being used, so they have been scraped and replaced with modern installations. If you like foreign glass, don't miss the chance to own one of these jewels because you may not see another one for sale. I know what I'm talking about because I was there in '90 and '93 and heard the story firsthand." After 20 years, this piece is being offered for sale again.
