Lot 142: CD 260 STAR Color: Yellowy Green Description: Some factory annealing stress lines and creases. Just about very, very near mint. This embossing on a "Roman Helmet" is relatively scarce. Many STAR insulators were manufactured in Elmer, New Jersey, where the geography and geology were able to support a number of glass factories. The amber swirls you can see in the ears are evidence of the impurity which is responsible for this beautiful yellowy green coloration! This insulator is sure to please!
