Lot 194: RICHARD GINORI {Italy}  Color: White Porcelain  Description: Excellent condition! Ink-stamped "RICHARD GINORI" on the top of the saddle. In 1735, Carlo Ginori, the Florentine marquis, founded a porcelain factory on his estate in Doccia, near Florence, having found a local supply of kaolin, the white clay required for making porcelain. The business merged in 1896 with Richard Ceramics of Milan to become Richard-Ginori. This petite porcelain T-bar measures only 3 1/4" tall. (#0397)
