Lot 66: CD 143 "Withycombe" Color: Light Purple Description: The "Withycombe" ridges were designed to absorb the shock of impact, and a few of these ridges have sustained some chipping in the line of duty. Frederick H. Withycombe patented six different styles of projections, ranging from circular, spiral and vertical ridges to various "bump" patterns.
