Lot 3: CD 151 H.G.CO. Color: Ice Aqua w/ Purple Description: 1" skirt bruise and a large inner skirt chip, both in the rear. The rest of the drips are perfect and the rest of the insulator is VVNM. Some people talk about purple wisps in the dome? others talk about purple swirls? This insulator is nearly a two-tone! From the lower wire ridge up it is virtually all purple and the skirt is the typical Ice Aqua color. Charles was gracious enough to allow the people attending the 2012 Kansas City National to view his collection. Everyone, including ourselves, found their eyes were immediately drawn to this insulator! And you can see why... This is believed to be the most extreme example of a CD 151 with purple in the dome.
