Lot 142: CD 252 M.& E. Color: Rich Blue Description: An inner skirt chip and a chip under the ear. This is the "stretched" variant of the CD 252. It is also an uncommon M.& E.CO. embossing. It is close to embossing index [030] but we could not see any trace of "PHILADELPHIA." Perhaps a new embossing for the book? This is a tough piece you don't want to pass by!
