View:  Main (LargeView 2 (Large)
Lot 163: CD 737 LEFFERTS [010]  Color: Blue Aqua  Description: Some bubbles throughout the insulator can be easily seen in the glass to the side and above the pinhole. The CD 737 style is one of the early threadless insulators, perhaps dating to the late 1840's. Marshall Lefferts was a businessman who became involved in the telegraph industry through his sale of wire to telegraph companies. 4" skirt repair as can be seen in the photo, 2" scallop bruise on the rear, otherwise, a nice-looking example of this large "hat" style. The insulator has been "clear coated". Add a new CD 737 to your threadless collection!
