Lot 156: CD 241 HEMINGRAY [020] Color: Red Amber Description: A petite saddle groove insulator! The style number 23 indicated that the insulator was designed to be used from 23 hundred to 66 hundred volts. For comparison purposes, the large CD 242 and extra-large CD 243 were designated style 66 (66 hundred to 88 hundred volts) and style 88 (88 hundred to 15,000 volts). The drip points are easily damaged, and about a half dozen of these are chipped, otherwise very, very near mint. A colorful example of this style!
