Lot 8: CD 121 AM.TEL.& TEL.CO. Color: Aqua w/ Amber "Mermaid" EIN: [110] Description: Wow! What a thick, dancing amber ribbon perfectly centered in the rear! Note that this is made by Hemingray rather than Brookfield. One can tell by the distinctive shape and the stamped embossing. A very unusual coloration. 1/4" base flake, otherwise easily very near mint. If this was an ink blot, what would you call it? The addition of some bubbles at the "bottom tail fin" of the streak give the sense that there is maybe a mermaid dancing in the water. For a great companion "pony", see lot 13.
