Lot 28: CD 106.1 DUQUESNE  Color: Cornflower Blue w/ Amber Swirls  EIN: [035]  Description: This Duquesne has an extra bonus of numerous amber swirls from the skirt to the dome! Typical crude molding. 3/8" wire ridge flake, otherwise very near mint. The dark spot on the rear is a nearly enclosed bubble that has some soot in it. It is not a bruise. The Duquesne Glass Company was in business in the Pittsburgh area from 1905 through approximately 1908, and most of these "peak tops" have been found in that general area. An unusual and desirable variation on your basic Cornflower Blue coloration!
